An experienced Space-Time Research consultant will spend time on site reviewing your current SuperSTAR deployment and deliver an upgrade strategy and quotation tailored to your organisation’s circumstances and needs.

The Process
Space-Time Research’s Services team has a proven methodology for implementing and upgrading SuperSTAR systems. The key stages are:
Assessment
A review and assessment of an organisation’s existing SuperSTAR deployment is conducted, out of which is delivered an upgrade plan and quotation. The upgrade plan will define your organisation’s key technical dependencies and business requirements, identify risk factors and map out a pathway to achieving a successful upgrade.
Implementation and Testing
With the upgrade plan in place our consultant can then assist your IT staff to deliver the SuperSTAR upgrade across your test, production and other applicable environments.
The new release is installed and configured in a controlled process. Once the base environment is in place our consultant can then assist with any additional upgrade tasks identified during the assessment phase, such as:
- Rolling forward existing customisations that had been applied to the old release.
- Converting old SuperSTAR database formats to the latest supported.
- Cleaning up or replacing processes that were wrapped around the old installation that were identified as being redundant or inefficient because of improvements to the SuperSTAR suite.
Throughout this phase specific test actions are applied to ensure each component is working as expected, both on a functional level and within the context of your business processes. Once user acceptance testing has been completed the upgraded solution is promoted to production.
