Course Overview
This course provides the fundamental knowledge and skills required by individuals that are responsible for the analysis of an organisation’s data using SuperCROSS.
Through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on labs, participants will learn how to access their organisation’s data, and then create powerful, accurate, and efficient queries using the SuperCROSS graphical interface.

Topics Covered
The SuperCross Foundation course covers the following topics:
- Creating, saving, and loading SuperCROSS tables
- Understanding the use of Recodes
- Understanding the use of Derivations
- Answering simple business queries
- Exporting data for external use
- Understanding the use of basic statistical functions
- Creating and saving simple charts
- Understanding the use of ColourVIEW
- Displaying and exporting records.
Each student receives a course manual and a lab book. These can be used as reference guides after the course is completed.
Prerequisite Skills
For this course we strongly recommend that participants have:
- knowledge of Microsoft Windows basic concepts and functionality, such as dragging and dropping objects and using menus and toolbars
- knowledge of simple database concepts such as the definitions of tables, fields, primary keys, and foreign keys.
