The SuperCROSS Advanced course is designed to build on participants' existing knowledge of SuperCROSS.
Through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on labs, participants will be exposed to the breadth of functionality available in SuperCROSS. Participants will gain experience essential for the complex analysis of their organisation’s data.

- Reviewing and extending SuperCROSS skills
- Understanding user defined fields
- Understanding how weightings and confidentiality works
- Advanced record view options
- Understanding table metadata such as annotations
- Working with the table definition format
- Creating queries for answering complex business questions
- Working with external data
- Integrating SuperCROSS with a metadata repository
- Learning how to customize the SuperCROSS environment
- Working with multiple datasets
Each student receives a course manual and a lab book. These can be used as reference guides after the course is completed.
Prerequisite skills
For this course we strongly recommend that participants have:
- attended the SuperCROSS Foundation Course or have significant experience with SuperCROSS
- knowledge of Microsoft Windows basic concepts and functionality, such as dragging and dropping objects and using menus and toolbars
- knowledge of simple database concepts such as the definitions of tables, fields, primary keys, and foreign keys.
