High Performance Analytics for the Voting Roll

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) is responsible for managing the Australian Electoral Roll which covers 13 million registered voters across 150 electoral divisions.

The Electoral Roll data is stored in hundreds of databases, each ranging from thousands to over 40 million records. Each year approximately 60 new databases are created to capture quarterly updates to the Electoral Roll.

“With Space‐Time Research’s SuperSTAR suite we are easily integrating large amounts of complex data from our internal Mainframe, into management reports and executive dashboards. Our senior executives are now better informed and better able to plan and direct our activities. We look forward to the SuperSTAR suite revealing emerging patterns and trends with the Roll, and to forecast outcomes”
Martin Gillies, Assistant Director, Roll Integrity Unit
