General Checklist Prior to Logging a Support Request
Before you log a Support Request, please ensure that you have worked through the following checklist:
- Verify that you are working with a supported version of SuperSTAR software.
- Verify that you are working with a supported software environment.
- Check the documentation provided with the product to see if you are using the software correctly.
- Determine if the problem is reproducible.
- Attempt to reproduce the problem using one of the sample databases shipped with the SuperSTAR suite.
- Note any recent changes made to your system or associated systems including:
- version of SuperSTAR software
- version of database or operating system, etc.
- changes to server or client components
- changes to security settings.
- Check to see if the problem has occurred before by searching your organization’s issue tracking system, if one exists.
- Check if the symptoms you are experiencing are described in the documentation provided with your product.
- Check the SuperSTAR FAQ for any information that may be relevant
- Check out SuperSTAR FORUM for other users who may have experienced the same or similar problems.
- Check out the Product Advisories for notices of the same or similar problems.
Space-Time Research Support Center Days of Operation
