General Checklist Prior to Logging a Support Request

Before you log a Support Request, please ensure that you have worked through the following checklist:

  • Verify that you are working with a supported version of SuperSTAR software.
  • Verify that you are working with a supported software environment.
  • Check the documentation provided with the product to see if you are using the software correctly.
  • Determine if the problem is reproducible.
  • Attempt to reproduce the problem using one of the sample databases shipped with the SuperSTAR suite.
  • Note any recent changes made to your system or associated systems including:
  • version of SuperSTAR software
  • version of database or operating system, etc.
  • changes to server or client components
  • changes to security settings.
  • Check to see if the problem has occurred before by searching your organization’s issue tracking system, if one exists.
  • Check if the symptoms you are experiencing are described in the documentation provided with your product.
  • Check the SuperSTAR FAQ for any information that may be relevant
  • Check out SuperSTAR FORUM for other users who may have experienced the same or similar problems.
