Data Providers - SuperSTAR suite creating more value from your data
Canberra, Australia
July 15, 2009
Space-Time Research hosted the 2009 annual Australian and New Zealand user group conference in Canberra at "The Boat House by the Lake".
As a member of the SuperSTAR user community, your organization is at an interesting and important point in its evolution as a data service provider. Public, private and civic communities increasingly demand better and easier access to public data.
On the 14th July, Lindsay Tanner, Australian Federal Minister for Finance and Deregulation, announced the formation of the Australian Government 2.0 Taskforce. This year's User Group Conference shares a common theme with the Taskforce - that being the need for tools to make public data more accessible and usable for everyone.
The conference provided our valued customer, the opportunity to:
- Network with fellow users
- Share ideas and learn how others are applying SuperSTAR solutions
- Discuss and contribute to future product planning
The event was a huge success with feedback such as:
| “The session today was great – Probably the best user group I’ve been to. Great venue and lunch also!” “Thanks, useful, enjoyable day.” “Enjoyed meeting other Space-Time Research users, thanks.” “Great venue” “Good to get those with a true interest in the product together + facilities – perfect.” |
